I have an Acer Aspire V5-552P-X404 with Windows 10 x64 instaled. I'm trying to replace the wireless card that came with the laptop (Atheros AR5B22 PCI-E) with a card that has AC wireless cabability that I found on Amazon (Azure Broadcom BCM94352HMB/BCM94352 PCI-E https://www.amazon.com/AzureWave-Broadcom-BCM94352HMB-BCM94352-867Mbps/dp/B00JY6X9HM). I recently tried The Intel AC-7260 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E7QGHE6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and although the card fit perfectly and the antennas installed fine, my laptop wouldn't boot into windows, it just sat there with a blank screen. I'm assuming it had something to do with the motherboad not being compatible with the Intel wireless card. I have updated all the drivers on my laptop to the latest onces and tried numerous different things to get the Intel card to work, but they all failed.
Would anyone know if the AzureWave Broadcom card would work? Thanks, and sorry for being a noob. I DID do research before posting this.
