Issue in the rotation during the change from tablet mode to computer mode

Hello, I bought an Acer Aspire Switch SW3-013-19GV with windows 10, when it's on tablet mode with the rotation locked vertically and I connect it to the keyboard it doesn't rotate automatically to the horizontal normal display. So I went to the store because of this issue and in the store they said this is normal, but they also said when the screen is in it's vertical mode I have to turn off the rotation lock during the tablet mode before I connect it to the keyboard in order to switch to the computer mode horizontally.

However, it's from my acknowledge that isn't something normal because as soon as I connect it to the keyboard, even though it's positioned vertically and with the rotation locked , it should automatically change to horizontal computer mode and I shouldn't have to turn off the button for that to happen.

I need to know differ opinions regarding this matter.

Best regards,

In windows, computer mode rotates on the Acer switch 10. I see no issue during the transition. in the Action center, there is also a toggle for desktop mode, if that's helpful at all.

I've noticed a similar problem with my Switch 10 (SW5-012), ever since I upgraded to Anniversary Update (v1607).

The Rotation Lock setting in Action Center is running opposite from the Lock rotation setting in Settings/System/Display. If one shows On, the other shows Off.

In order to rotate my screen 90 degrees, I have to go to Settings/System/Display, turn the Lock rotation switch On, and only then will the Orientation dialogue drop down for the 4 options (Portrait - standard & flipped, Landscape - standard & flipped). The orientation sensors in the tablet itself seem to be out of service, because the Device Manager shows "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the driver required for this device. (Code 31)"

I tried to update the driver, but that failed. What DID work was to uninstall both the InvenSense Sensor Collection and the Capella Micro CM3218x Ambient Light Sensor.

Once I did that, everything now works fine.
