I don't think my 532h is on the list either but is running Anniversary happily if not too quickly. Same for my W510 and W3 tabs.

Fact is that Acer has limited support capability and the only profits are from new sales

Not being on the Acer list does not mean it cannot support, just that Acer will not help.

No-one supports my quad-core 2006 vintage home-built desktop with removable drives either but is also running Win 10-64 Anniversary nicely.

Meanwhile did that trick work for NFS ?

ps can also boot IBM PC-DOS 1.0 (no delete). Not very useful but still "100% compatible"

You can keep an eye out for any updated Broadcom drivers.  Obviously Acer has no control over Broadcom and their drivers.  And keep an eye out for bug fixes from Microsoft.

    Good luck.

Edit: If you haven't already, you can try to reset as a last resort.

Not sure if this will help......

    It's about "start service".

Sometimes Windows can get the internal DNS cache confused, which stops you fom accessing some things via a name yet still allows via the IP address. From an administrator command prompt type "ipconfig /flushdns" (without the quotes) and hit return. Then reboot and see if the NAS shows back up.

Windows also seems to re-evaluate networks on occasion where it thinks your existing network is now a new network. By default new networks are public and you want it to be private (either home or work) in order to access many things.

Finally you can do quite a bit of diagnostics to help pin down the problem by using nslookup and tracert from a command line. If something like "nslookup www.google.com" gives a valid address and "nslookup myNAS" (or whatever your NAS is named) doesn't you might be using the wrong DNS servers.
