Hi,

My battery seems to hold a charge very well. However, the problem is when I try to move my laptop on battery power; it suddnely turns off. It also shuts down when jostled or bumped. The battery is great when the laptop is stationary. I noticed this problem when I move from one class to another: The Aspire V works great during class, but the moment I shut it and put it in my backpack it shurts down and I need to reboot it for the next class.

The laptop is great when it is plugged in.

This seems like a hardware issue but I don't know what to do.

Thanks for your help!

When your battery id installed, it there and play in it where it might be moving and disconnecting itself?

If you close the lid and not move it, does it shut down?
