Acer A3-A30 Camera auto focus not working in apps except google camera

Acer Icona Tab 10 A3-A30 Model A5003 

 

I am running a bunch of these with an image recognition app. 

 

Auto focus works fine on other Android tabelts models/brands in the app, however on the A3 the camera is alwayse blurry and out of focus, the only way to get it to focus is via the google camera app.

 

Anyone had issues like this?

 

Drivers maybe???

only rear camera has AF.

Probably the image recognition app need a proper link to camera "drivers".

 

please try another camera application and check if AF works, if not, give Acer support service a call

Hi  IronFly thanks for responding so fast.

 

The rear camera AF works fine with the google camera app as stated in the origonal post.

 

And the Image recognition app works fine with other android tablets.

 

Might try Acer support.

I suggest you to contact the application devoper too, maybe he can solve this easily, probably he will ask you to log its application so he can trace any error or missing "drivers" calls.
