I have Z320 Smart Phone with limited phone data and I would like to use wifi in browsing, apps update and other stuffs that can deplete my data, can I do it and how I can switch from the phone data to wifi?  Also I have dual sim, can I use one sim card slot for data only and one for phone and texting.  I am still a novice, please bear with my stupid questions.  Thanks to anyone who will give their time to answer my querries.

    SMS = text

    when wifi is connected, your phone will use only wifi connection, so you don't need to switch SIM card, by the way if you want to be 100% sure it will not used, you can simply use the quick setting toggle to enable/disable mobile data connection.

    on Acer phone, normally there's a quick setting about mobile data, you just need to pull down the notification bar.

    on google play you don't need to enable but check if updates will install automatically only when using wifi.

    about SIM data and texting:

    settings/SIMs

    here you can set which SIM card will handle data, SMS or calls.

    about using WiFi only on some apps, you need to check at each application settings if you can set wifi only as update/download.

    like Google Play, just tap on the 3 lines near the google play search, then tap Settings and have a look at the first entry.

    I want to save money on calls, text and data, because I am on prepaid sim card that I just bought. When using wifi can I switch off the sim card so it will not be activated when I am doing browsing, I don't know if I am making sense at all, I hope you know where I am coming, want to save money.  What is SMS anyway, and why it will cost money and why Google Apps edit text,read and send SMS and can cost me money? Am I getting out of topic?  I check Google Play as you said to tap the 3 lines and went to setting don't see anything about enable update by wifi.  I am confuse.
