I've a problem with my acer iconia W700.
When I turn on my device, it report an error "no bootable device" and the sistem don't wont boot at all!
Times ago maybe I've update the bios from the acer site download in "BIOS/Firmware".. maybe is this the cause.. in the download section Bios reports the red message "An incorrect BIOS update system may cause damage to the Acer product. Proceed with Extreme caution." ....
I think to restore the acer iconia W700 with the cd acer drivers, and recovery sistem. Nothing to do.. not work.. in the menu, the selections options result grey and not active (I've attached a picture! Is the recovery Italian version! However the recovery options 1 and 2 is grey..as you can see..).the recovery system can not find the ssd ! It is as if there were no! (I've tryed also with an new installer from a original disk of windows 8, but it seems that the SSD is dead or there isn't in the hardware location..the windows installer can't find an Ssd where install the windows OS... IMPOSSIBLE!)
What's happened?? I hope that my ssd is alive...
please help me.. Smiley Sad how can I solve that problem?? how can i restored the correct firmware bios?
thanks so much...!!

Everything you say points at a failed drive. Smiley Sad

The SSD is removable, but not for the faint of heart. Better to have a trusted technician do it. But you could at least increase capacity at the same time.
