Out of space on my HD... help!! Aspire One Cloudbook 14

My HD is showing 2.16GB free of 28.5GB, believe the HD is 30GB or so...I've deleted just about everything that's extra and the HD is still full!!! The Windows 10 only should use around 13 GB from what I've read unless I'm wrong. Can't figure out what is taking up all the space and how to get rid of it...I wonder if because I had to do a Recovery on my laptop the Windows .old file is the culprit. I've tried countless times to delete it but it won't let me unless I boot in Safe Mode which is something else I can't figure out how to do....any thoughts or ideas???

    1) Turn off Hibernation and reduce the size of pagefil.sys

    2) Remove apps you do not need

    3) Move large directories like Music, Photos, and Documents to an external drive or SD card

Once that is done try downloading the Update to a NTFS formatted flash drive of at least 16GB and run from there.

If you have trouble understanding this, find a friend or neighbor who does. These are not trivial changes.

I'm going with an SD card to supplement my storage...does it auto detect it or do I have to set it up??
