S7 aspire boot loop issues

I'm having issues with my S7 aspire and I'm at my wit's end.

 

I used this thing all day Saturday no issues. It's running Windows 10 and has been for a while now. Windows update ran on shutdown Saturday night. Sunday and into Monday if I turn it on I get the acer splash screen, it shows the ring spinning, then turns off, comes back on and repeats. F2 works but I can't do much in that menu. I cannot boot in safe mode with F8. I tried changing boot mode to legacy and got an error message that no operating system was detected.

 

I'm extremely frustrated as Microsoft just turned my nice computer into a brick. Any thoughts would be appreciated
