Got a notification today for an update to my B3-A20. Update says Acer_AV0L0_B3-A20_3.006.00_WW_GEN11. Install fails because something is wrong with UPDATE.ZIp.

Has anyone else had a problem?

    In the action area -

    Opening update package...

    Installing update...

    Verifying current system...

    "/system/bin/debugger64" has unexpected contents.

    Update.zip is not correct

    Installation aborted.

if you didn't root your device, there's something wrong on the update.zip.

Acer is the only that can fix it.

Same thing happened to me except my tablet kept going into recovery mode and not booting. Tried factory reset but that didn't work. Ended up downloading stock image file from Acer support site then reflashing using my PC and adb side loader. After reboot the update became available again. It looks like it saves to memory card but then can't access the file to install after shutdown. I removed the SD card and downloaded the update and it installed this time from internal memory. Hope this helps.

I'm having problems getting adb sideloader to work. In recovery, it shows running under the update I previously mentioned but after booting, it goes thru the process of optimizing apps, and then just continuously runs "starting apps".

I copied the original image file to my SD card (external one) but recovery does not see that as installed. Looks to the internal memory which I can't get to.

I have the latest version of Android Studio/ADB installed.

I had problems with Android studio so I used ADB and FASTBOOT. Check out this link for instructions.

Just to try and close this thread out, I contacted Acer Support and was told to send it in. It took about 8 days for out and back. The latest update was not installed on the return but after a few downloads of various patches it seemed, the RC07 update installed. I might add that that RC07 update is still not on the web site and only shows the RC06 update from earlier this year.
