Switch Alpha 12, Screen Rotation Missing

My Switch Alpha 12 worked well after I received it last week. Including screen rotation in tablet mode.

Unfortunately, after I upgraded Windows with the Anniversary update on last weekend I suddenly lost the capability to rotate the screen. The respective switch is just missing in the settings. Even when working in tablet mode.

Any idea what might be the reason and how to solve this?

Hi, I have a Switch Alpha 12 with the Anniversary update. See "Rotation Lock" in the "Action Center". It works on mine. I hope that this works for you as well. Good luck.

Thanks for your input. Unfortunately exactly that icon is missing.

Hi Bastel, I found it under "Quick actions" – Add or remove quick actions, under "Notifications & Actions" in Settings. I hope this will help you the rotation working again. I tried rotating mine and it works okay.

Just for interest I aso found under "Tablet PC Settings" in Control Panel a "Go to orientation" link which changes the order that your screen rotates. That may be a factor as well if it is set up oddly.

I've ran out of ideas so I hope this does it.

    Cheers,

    Canadaloon,

    Thanks again for your input.

However, such setting is missing on my PC.

    It's a miracle...

Hi again Sebastian, this is my last shot at this. I've ran out of ideas. I can't tell from the graphic because it's not clear enough to tell what the icons are but if you are not in "Tablet mode" the "Rotation Lock" icon is not in the menu so it can't be turned on or off.

I hope this does the trick for you. I suspect not but I had to try one more time.

    Good luck, Cheers,
