Second XB271HU same fault.

Just recieved my second XB271HU from Ebuyer.

 

I returned the first one due to extremely bad backlight bleed. The replacement however not only has backlight bleed again but it also has a grey smudge under the display (Right in the center of the screen!).

 

It was a March 2016 build but sadly still had the old firmware, so the overlapping image issue was present.

Ebuyer have said they will no longer be stocking the item as it has been discontinued, mostly likely due to the number of returns. 

 

So now I ask... What is Acers return policy like? When I returned an AOC display a few years ago they dropped of a replacement at my door and took the faulty display away. Does Acer offer a similar service?

 

Also do these monitors actually go under any form of quality control at all or do you just ship them and hope for the best?

    The best thing you can do at this point is to contact Acer support in your region, so they can guide you according to the warranty policy.
