Hey guys

So i have a acer Predator G3-710

  • Intel Core i5-6400
  • 8 GB RAM
  • GTX 1070

But it keeps overheating when im playing games on ultra high settings. And since it have "IceTunnel thermal system" theres no fans inside the case.

Will a fan simply resolve this issue? The poor thing obvisoly cant get enough air. So the iceTunnel thermal system dosent seem to work now

If the case has a place to install a fan, you can purchase a fan that uses molex connector for power.  But this will be always on unless you buy one with an on/off switch.  That might lower temp a little.

Try using Geforce Experience to optimize your game settings.

Thank you for your answer. Its turns out, after looking a bit. Theres a 4-pin in the upper corner of the motherboard.

So i instaled a new fan. I think this will solve the problem

I use G. Experience. Thats why the temps are high. G. Experience sets the settings to very high in most games. Sometimes i turn them down just because of the heat i was getting.

Ok, good find on the 4 pin.

You can log your temps and post them here with GPUZ if you want to.

I don't really know what you mean by "overheating" unless you post temps.
