KA220HQ Vertical viewing angles problem

I have a Acer KA270H as my main monitor and an Acer KA220HQ as my secondary monitor.

We ordered the two Acer models so that they would provide a similar picture.

Both are connected by DVI.

The VA220HQ is very washed out in comparison to the KA270H and no setting changes make it any better.

If I look at the VA220HW from a very low angle, (chin on my desk) the colour are much better.

For instance, on google maps, most of the lower order roads are not visibile on the VA220HW, but show perfectly on the VA270H. The pale blue borders around windows are grey on the VA220HQ, but fine on the KA270H.

Have I got a defective monitor that needs to be returned?

Cheers,

Matt

This does sound like a hardware problem with the monitor that will require service. We suggest you contact the Acer location for your country for assistance with this issue.
