G276HL "no signal" only when connected to graphics card

recently assembled a new PC and bought a new monitor (G276HL). in the past, i had been using a G277 and its all fine but because of the move i had to get a new monitor. However when graphics card is conneced to G276HL via VGA (DVI adapter on GC) or HDMI, there is "no signal".

 

the monitor is able to display though when connected to the Mother board via VGA and HDMI and bios changed to use integrated graphics. when the GC is connected to an old model (LCD is severely cracked) via VGA (DVI adaptor on GC) there is display and no signal using HDMI. I have taken the PC to an IT guy because i assumed it was a GC error, and the PC displays alright on his monitor.

 

Any help is appreciated, I have exhausted all ideas at the moment.

It sounds like your grafic card is disable, but again, you did say: "I have taken the PC to an IT guy because i assumed it was a GC error, and the PC displays alright on his monitor."
