xb271hu display port not working

Hi, i bought my predator monitor last week and it was working fine then i went to start it up again and the monitor said no signal. I switched over to hdmi and its working fine as soon as i go back to displayport it stops.

 

So far i have tried a second displayport cable, had the graphics car tested from the store that sold it to me, done the take the powercord out and hold the power button trick,changed my powerboard, uninstalled GPU drivers and re installed them, updated motherboard BIOS, removed and reinstalled graphics card. ive tried alot more and nothing has worked.

 

makes me belive that the problem is the monitor???

 

Graphics card is an ASUS GTX 1070 STRIX gaming OC.
