Is USB Type-C slot on Aspire E5-575G-53W3 really a 10 Gbps USB 3.1 Gen 2 or just 5 Gbps USB 3.1Gen1?

Speaking of "Type-C USB 3.1", The port could be either 10 Gbps (USB 3.1 Gen 1) or 5 Gbps (USB 3.1 Gen 2).

Well, due to marketing purpose if it is really Gen 2, it should have been obviously stated as Gen 2 though.

Which is the one on Aspire E5-575G-53W3?

I have a question similar to this one.

I also have an Acer E5-575G with USB-C 3.1 port.

I just bourgt a USB-C monitor, but can't get it working.

Can someone tell me if this is because the USB-C 3.1 port doesn't support Video out or its a driverproblem?

Try a USB C to HDMI and see if that carries video.
