Will VN7-591G get Pcie SSD bios update?

After reading this http://community.acer.com/t5/V-and-VN-Series-Laptops/Why-is-the-M2-PCIE-slot-speed-capped-to-1-5GBs-VN7-592G-71ZL/td-p/394275/page/3

I found out my M.2 slot is the same with 592G that mean if i get BIOS update my 591G can support M.2 Nvme ssd too is that right?

    Hi,

It would be nice to include support for 591G as well for NvMe.

It looks like it does not require any special hardware changes, except a BIOS update (of course and the NVMe SSD).

Here is a method how it could be done.

    http://www.win-raid.com/t871f16-Guide-How-to-get-full-NVMe-support-for-Intel-Chipset-systems-from-Series-up.html

But when you have such an expensive notebook I would not try it personally, if I would be unable to restore a backup BIOS if something goes wrong?

What does acer say about this? Could acer do the BIOS update for NVMe support for VN7-591G?

I think you need to do some research to check the intel chipset support NVMe or not .
