Hi,

I'm using Aspire E 15 model and one of  the problem I'm facing from yesterday is the status of the wireless network adapter is "Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45) To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer". I have uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it but no luck. Can anyone please help me with this issue ?

Thanks

Was the wireless on this system ever working?

What operating system are you running?

Have you tried loading the latest Wireless driver from our website?

    Hi,

The Wi-fi was working fine on my system but I formatted my system and from then on I couldn't find the wireless network adapter in device manager. I went into BIOS and also verified that the Network Boot was enabled. I'm running Windows 10. I also downloaded the latest driver but as my wireless adpater is not present in the device manager so during insatallation it was throwing an error that " Device must be unplugged ". Is there any other solution apart from opening the laptop and see whether the wireless card connection is good or not ?

    Thanks,

What version of Windows do you have installed? Did you use our OEM recovery software, or did you load a retail version of WIndows? If you did not load an Acer recovery image, please send me a private message so we can help you get the correct software for your product. If it doesn't work after loading the factory image, the problem will most likely be with the wireless adapter.

    Hi,

Just as an update, my wi-fi started operating from today but there's a catch when I restarted my system my wi-fi went off and I can see the wireless adapter in the hidden devices and it's status is "Currently the device is not connected to the computer". I have updated the driver and it's says that lastest driver is already installed. I also checked with Fn + F3 key to see if it starts operating normally but no luck. Can you please suggest any solution to this ?

    Thanks

What Operating system do you have installed? It sounds like the hardware is working fine, but something with the software/driver is preventing it from working properly. I suggest installing the OEM operating system using recovery media, as this should fix any software problems.

Thanks. What is the exact E15 model you have? If you are unsure, please send me a private message with your serial number or SNID, so I can help locate a driver or software update that may help.
