    Hello,

Your laptop is equipped with a discrete graphic board. That means all components are directly soldered on the motherboard:

    Spoiler
    NB.MUW11.003MAIN BD.DIS.W/CPU.I7-5500.GT940M.2GB

    It supports up to 16Gb - DDR3L - 1600MHz (2x8Gb). Compatible memory: Kingston

Thanks for that! One more question, can I, let's say replace the motherboard? Is that possible?

    Hello,

You already have the best motherboard (my opinion) of this series. If you use the pre-installed version of Windows OEM, the license is linked with this one.

    Here are the original motherboards:

Thank you for that. I appreciate the info and the time you put here to read my questions. Okay, the main reason I'm asking is because I was wondering if I can replace the motherboard and video card with a new one(a higher one if possible)? Let's say the one with an Nvidia GTX and not a GT?
