Aspire 7750G Monitor Driver will not install

Hi,

 

I did a fresh install of windows 7 64 bit on my Acer Aspire 7750G-9855.  I have tried installing various versions of the Radeon 6650M graphics card driver.  but no matter what it will not update the monitor display driver. The device manager just shows the monitor as "generic PNP monitor."  I have also tried the right click>Properties>Update Driver>Browse my computer for driver and have tried to manually update it using the .INF file.  I have also tried uninstalling the monitor driver and graphics card driver and used GURU3D.com DDU utility in safe mode. 

 

I am out of ideas and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you try to erecover Win7 using the Alt+F10 method from the hidden recovery partition?
