Hello, I recently updated to windows 10 from 8.1, and the sound doesn't work. I've uninstalled, and reinstalled drivers from both windows update, and the manufacturer. This computer is an Acer switch 10 SW5-012. Also, as states in the title, I can't change the bitrate. It is grayed out. Please help ungraying the input box where the bitrate is, as many online sources, have suggested to lower the bitrate. Any and all help is appreciated.

Below is an attached image the is a clip of my sound properties window.

Thanks hgmartin9 for the quick reply. However, this unfortunately did not fix my problem. Like I said in the O. P.  I already hosted  the drivers from Windows update and from Acer.

The bitrate is is correct and is often grayed out according to hardware and drivers.

Did you look for hidden drivers and instal the Acer platform drivers per the link? Follow the order described.

Go to Device Manager>View>Show hidden devices. If you have other devices> IWD Aud-Device_6,  uninstall it. Then, restart your system. Go to Acer support driver downloads for your model. Download Realtek Audio, Platform Drivers Installer, and Quick Access. Install Reltek and then restart system. Install Quick Access and then restart. Finally install Platform Drivers. Restart and you should have sound.
