I have an B1-760HD but the screen brightness doesn't seem to work.

Even with the control at its lowest setting, the screen seems to stay at the same level of brightness.

 

I'm probably missing something somewhere?

try a factory reset and then check brigthness again:

(backup all your personal data first)

settings/backup&reset - factory data reset

Thanks for the quick reply - yeah I'll give a Factory Reset a go – the unit is only a few days old and I just used the default install.  It was only this morning when it was quite dark and I wanted to dim the screen it didn't work.
