Acer net book shuts down too soon

Hello ,   could you help me with my net book, once I log on but don't use the net book for say 20 minutes it goes into

a power saving mode and then I have to log in again, the problem is ,is that people are trying to skype me but my computer

has shut down so they can't get me, how can I stop that from happening, and I am unsure of which working group I should

have my net book set to, I only use it for email and looking stuff up on line.  last question  when I am typing a sentence and

stop for a second the cursor jumps in somewhere else in my paragraph for no reason.  thanks for all your help I am

In regards to your cursor jumping, I recommend you disable tapping on your touchpad using the instructions at http://acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6752.
