VN7-791G-71P5 BIOS reset

After changing a BIOS setting, I cannot access BIOS anymore: computer and fans power up, but there is no display.

There is a CMOS battery and reset button at bottom of motherboard, but I am not sure of the correct procedure of resetting BIOS. Should I remove all power (main battery)? Should I remove battery before pressing reset button or no? How long do I need to press the reset button?

By the way, something unrelated: Windows Task Manager in "Performance" tab, "Memory" reports that there are 2/4 RAM slots occupied. However, I only see 2 slots total on motherboard. Where are the other 2? Or is Windows just reporting what the number of RAM modules the chipset supports?
