Strange streaks/smudges on the W700 screen

Just picked up the W700 a week ago and loving it so far!

 

One strange issue/annoyance I'm seeing is "streaking" I see on the tablet's Gorilla Glass after using the faux-leather case that came with the W700.  So for example... I wipe the screen completely clean and smudge free.  Then close the faux-leather case around the tablet.  Then I come back an hour or so later and the glass has a straight verticle line smudge/streak down the center of the screen and also "frame" streaks.  It wipes off no problem, but then after cleaning it and some usage, it reappears (again ususally after closing the case around the tablet).

 

I'm wondering if it has something to do with screen heat that forms smudges/streaks while the tablet sleeps in the case.  Anyone else experiencing this with or without using the case?  I know it's strange sounding but it's happening regularly for me.

I also have them, but cleaning with the soft thong takes them away, for a while atleast
