Error C1900101-40017 upgrading my Aspire 7600U from Win8.1 to Win10
I keep getting error code C1900101-40017 each time I try to upgrade from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10.
Each time I am thrown back to Windows 8.1 and I am still NOT running Windows 10.
These are my attempts so far:
(1) I did nothing, just upgrading from 8.1 to 10. Resulting in error code C1900101-40017
(2) I first executed the Reimage repair utility
(3) I disconnected all my USB-devices
(4) I closed my Norton
(5) I disabled Driver Signature Verification
(6) No idea what to try next!!

I do not show this model is supported for the Windows 10 upgrade. You can find a list of eligible models at http://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/windows10-eligible-models. I tried to upgrade our A7600 to Windows 10 trying numerous methods, but was never able to get it to upgrade. Sorry, but I do not have any suggestions for you on loading Win 10 on this system.
