Hey gus,

I just recently bnought a Predator x34 and there is a clear black screen in the top right. I've tried switching out the DP cables, restarting the monitor and restarting the PC>

It doesn't show up right away either. When I restart the monitor, itll be gone then shows up after about 20 seconds.

Anyone know what the issue might be?image1.JPG

You say top-right but your image shows top-left.  Anyway, if it's in the top-right (and your image is just mirrored for some reason) it could just be a problem with the in-built FPS counter showing incorrectly.  Have you tried disabling the FPS counter through the monitor's OSD menu and see if the square goes away?

Hey. it was the FPS counter!! Thanks a bunch.

Btw is there any downsides to overclocking the monitor? Will it reduce its lifespan?

Great Smiley Happy  Please mark my reply above as the "solution" for others searching this issue to find later.

As for your other question:  No, overclocking will not shorten the lifespan of the monitor.
