I want to speed up my Aspire R3 131T with a 32GB Flash Drive by replacing the Celeron Processor N3050 is it possible? Also I was told its not possible to overclock this processor. If possible which processor would work.

Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

Could you give me the first ten characters of the computer serial number (S/N)? Only the first ten.

The N3700 models uses a different motherboard from the N3050 and is much easier to upgrade. It is hard for me to understand why they produced that model when the R3-131T-P344 is so much more powerful for not much more money (both had the same MSRP) and is easy to upgrade. Mine is not much slower than a i7 but has 8GB and a SSD now.

Part of the issue is that Acer never has done a good job of explaining what the diferences in models are, you have to go to the Intel ARK to see the differences between the 3050 and 3700.
