can't do a clean install because of EUFI

I bought a used AXC-603-UB17 that had an unactivated copy of Ain 8.1 and no activation code, which was no problem I had a copy of Win 7 I planned on putting on it. SO I formatted the disk and when I went to do the clean install I get the EUFI recopvery page saying the winload.efi file was missing.

Howd o I disable EUFI and get to the legacy bios??? I have tried all the options I've seen on the internet but nothing works.

I've added a supervisor password, set the secure boot to disabled, but it still won't give me the CSM launch option...what am I doing wrong.

    Can you reinstall Windows 8.1?

NO, Win 8 was pre-loaded and I had no activation code,,, If I had the code I would have kept the win 8.

You don't need the code. I'm asking are you able to install 8.1 so you can update the bios to the curent version?

No, the win 8 was a preload and I do not have another copy to use...if I did I would have used it and not had the eufi problem.

I nned to find a work around on the eufi to get to the legacy bios.

    download the media here,

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media

burn the ISO to a disk and see if you can install it. If you can, update the bios and you may then be able to

change it to legacy and install Windows 7.

How did you make the USB? Did you use Rufus? https://rufus.akeo.ie/

Did you set the computer to boot fron the USB or use F-12 boot menu?

If you can not access the bios or the F-12 boot menu, burn the ISO to a dvd and boot from the DVD.
