ACER LIQUID Z530 "Unfortunately Acer Liquid Home has stopped" issue after updating

Hi everyone, I own a ACER LIQUID Z530..... my phone is about a month old...it was running very very fine till yesterday i.e. the 19th April '16, when after updating, i found that after using my phone for about a minute or two the following error comes up.. "Unfortunately, Acer Liquid Home has stopped working". The screen then shifts automatically to the "recent screen appears here" page.

I also noticed that the update changed my menu screen from a left-right swipe to a top-down swipe.

Can someone please clarify what this problem is and if there is any software update to fix it. It is making the day-to-day using of the phone extremely annoying.

I've had the same problem and I found the solution to mine:

had the same problem. Just went to settings>apps, found Acer liquid home and cleared the cache and data. Maybe it would have still worked if I only cleared cache so you can try that first
