G257HLBMDIX zero frame monitor

I recently purchased the Acer G257HLBMDIX zero frame monitor. I have tried using the DVI and the HDMI input. I am assuming that the monitor should display to the very edge of the monitor, however, the left, right and top portions of the picture is approximatley 1/2" from the edge. I have tried using the auto setting on the monitor and tweaking the settings of my ATI Radeon HD 5570 video card with scaling set at 0, but with no success at completely filing the moitor screen. I would have assumed that a zero frame screen meant there would be no black border displayed on the actual screen. Any suggestions about inputs or settings?

There is a approximately 1/4 inch of plastic around the LCD, but the LCD itself should display an image from edge to edge. Can you post a picture so I can compare it to the models I have here to see if it is the same?

The first image below shows that the frame of the monitor is actually very narrow, and the 1920x1080 image does not go all the way to the corner of the monitor. It is this way on the left, top, and right of the screen, but does go all the way down to the very bottom of the frame. The connection from the computer to the monitor is a HDMI cable, but a DVI cable does the same thing.

The second image is a close up of the upper left hand corner for a better view

I was able to confirm that the image looks the same on our G257HL that we have here. I also got clarification that this is normal behavior and zero-frame is in reference to there being no plastic bezel over the LCD screen. Unfortunately, I do not believe there is a setting you will be able to change to get a wider viewing area.
