Hello ,
Today my laptop froze restarted and then displays no bootable device after the Acer screen . In the bios no details come up for HDD0 HDD1 it's just blank. I have the 128gb windows 8 model updated to windows 10 . I updated to windows 10 the first day I got it and it has worked flawless since then August 2015 .

Please help .

no sign of HDD/SSD on BIOS is a bad sign, probably you got a bad SSD or it disconnected (i doubt).

if you are still under warranty give Acer support service a call, if you are out of warranty, take it to a computer shop.

Would updating the BiOS help? I run Windows 10. Is the no bootable device problem discussed in any Acer literature. If Acer wishes us, its customers to purchase laptops that cost over $1,000, their support needs to be improved. Especially, one a potential software problem. A boot diagnostic program would really help.
