Iconia One ....How to remove extra icons from home page

I know this is a "dah" one but I now need to move from my home page several icons that are extras.  How do I do that?  I have tried and cannot find instructions and cannot seem to do it. Not delete  --- just move off home page

Long click on the icon until the screen shrinks a bit, then slide it to the edge of the screen. The display will move to the next screen and you can move it around or on to the next screen again. Release the touch and it'll drop where you placed it, if there's room.

 

If you just want to remove the icon entirely, do the same but drag it to the trashcan. The app won't be uninstalled, but the icon will go away.
