Hello. my z630 takes about 4 minutes to boot up from the powered off state aswell. I was wondering if you have have the Amazon app on your phone? and if you do, can it be uninstalled? and if you can uninstall it, does it just reinstall itself after about a minute? and is your storage magically being used up even if you not addding things to your phone? i'm having a bunch of issues and is wondering who is in the same boat as me. Thanks.

Hello. I bought Liquid Z630 three days ago. The phone takes more than 4 minutes to boot up. Unable to remove Amazon app. The storage is used up very quickly without add any apps. If there is no solution from Acer, I will return it next Monday.

I feel your pain!..i was wonder where did you buy your device and what country? i feel that there is a batch of these buggy phones in Canada sitting on store shelve (and in hands) with the exact same issue we are having ( and others here in the community). I've been here now for almost 2 weeks chatting with online support and with other Acer community members.  But, before you return your phone there is something that you can do that will ease the pain until then.

1- got to the amazon website(from phone web browser) and install the amazon app store.apk

    2- install it.

3-open the newly installed amazon app store and download the amazon underground app and install (new version and name for the throublesome app)

4- the old amazon app should now be replaced with the new one. it will open and actually work!

It not much but, by doing this will allow your phone to run quicker, the google play store won't crash and you'll have easy all day battery life but you won't get you storage back (unless you do this right after a factory reset). BUT, there is a catch. If you shut down your phone the old app will just install its self right over the new one on boot and you'll be back to square one! just turn off your screen and wifi while charging your phone as needed.

I know Acer is working on this, and I'm (we are all) hoping the fix will come very very soon.

    Just trying to help.
