Hi,everyone I have a new problem now after I updated my windows 7 to 10. Dolby Advanced Audio program send this message on my laptop. I don't know how to fix this annoying problem. (I'm sorry for my bad english )
click on download, double click to extract files, look for install or setup.exe to run the installer.
Should I uninstalled all of Dolby's programs first?
it would be better.
I did it. But what should I do next? The sound stills not working.(Dolby's program is vanish too)
have you installed the drivers i linked above?
Yes,I did it in the first step.
you can also try to re-install windows 8.1 drivers, selecting compatibility mode:
unzip, right click the install/setup.exe, choose Properties, choose Compatibility, tick "run this program in compatibility mode", choose windows 8, apply and click ok, then double click the exe.
Bad luck. I saw a Dolby's program now but there's still no sound. Should I choose on Win7? (Because I uesd it before I updated to Win10)
can you right click on speaker icon, choose playback device and post the a screenshot here?
Yes,of course. Here you go
Yes,of course. Here you go.
when you play any sound or video with audio, does the right bar move?
Oh I'm so sorry for being late. Yes,it moves (But now I think there's a problem with my hardware. I will send my laptop to Personal Computer Service Center. They might be detected) Thank you for everything that you've done to me a lot. I would tell you if they detected something. Thank you again
I think you can try to enter the device manager and then uninstall current drivers, and the use the scan for hardware changes, it will automatically help you scan your hardware and then help you install the drivers. So I think it will solve your problem. If you can not know how to, you can follow this article: solve dolby audio problem in windows 10
