No connections available on my sw5-015

So my nephews SW5-015 won't connect to my wireless network.  I checked the wireless driver and it's the latest and greatest.  Under Network Connections, Wi-Fi is up and running, but in the system tray, the wireless icon has a red x on it and when I hover the mouse over it it comes up Not connected - No connections are available.  My other wireless devices are able to connect to my network without any problem.

I've tried resetting the computer several times, but it keeps coming up the same way.

Wi-fi is definitly on and Airplane mode is definitly off.

Any suggestions?

Try moving the computer right on top of the router. If it sees the wireless network when you are less than a couple of feet away it's likely the antenna cables are loose.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't help.  I'm still get the message that no connections are available.

Sounds like the card is bad then, best to contact Acer support for repair.
