I just received my nee X34, manufactured in Feb 2016 and thankfully I have no issue.

I do have some questions as the colors are definately off. In playing dc universe online, the yellows have a slight green hue to them.

1. is there an ICC profile I can download for this monitor?

2. Is there a calibration tool of some kind I can use to help me set this up?

3. I read over at TFTCentral.com (http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/acer_predator_x34.htm) what their suggested settings are but I cant find where to set them in the OSD. Where do I set the luminence, black point and contrast ratio?

Any help would be really appreciated.

luminance, black point and contrast ratio are just a calibration report, not values you can set.

look for Acer X34, download ICC profile and load it; then set the values as mentioned on the same page

Ok and TY. I have downloaded the profile and set it by running colorcpl.exe as I found in Geforce garage at this link

I think I have done it properly. I am going to run a few game snow and see if the color looks more accurate.

I know this post is old...but hoping the OP is still around. Can you tell me if this ICC thing worked or not? If anyone else reads this and understand, can you please help me out. I've been looking around to see how to calibrate the Acer X34 and read allot of stuff about adjust contrast, gamma and etc....not once did anyone talk about ICC. This is the first post to mention it.

So, could you tell me if ICC is something that must be done, or should be done...just trying to figure out if this is something is need to mess with. Most posts I read on owners with the X34 talk about "hey this is my setting, try brightness 44 and contrast 30" stuff like that....never about this ICC. It sounds like the ICC could be easier then doing it yourself.

Any info would be great...Im completely lost now.

ICC profiles are done with calibration hardware tools and it's the best thing to do, instead of messing around with "by eye" calibration:

the monitor msute use the suggested settings to have the best performance with the correct ICC profile, they are reported on the article and my previous link.

thanks for taking out the time to explain. I'm a long time console user and recently came to the master PC race cause a friend finally talked me into it. My main issue that Im having a hard time with is that with console, you sit down and play thats it. With pc there are soooooo many settings to adjust/tweak etc and its a good thing I get that but it gets to be very overwhelming. I want to be sure I'm tweaking the pc as it should so I can get the benifit out of it. Its starting to stress me out...partly cause this is all new to me and partly cause Im not sure if Im tweaking the right things....sorry if that sounds confusing.

    Thanks for the help/advice
