E5-571 network adapter driver update problem

Hi,

I've been having a lot of problems with the broadcom 802.11n adapter recently. The driver from 2014 not working in my case and having to revert to the 2013 version made me want to download and install the most recent available (2015) on the acer support page.

After downloading and running the setup.exe, the wizard assistant does tell me the driver is ready to use. I then restart my laptop but after checking the driver properties of the network adapter, the device is still using the 2013 one and won't allow me to choose the new one from the list on my computer.

Is there anything I could do to actually install and run the driver? Or will it simply won't change much to my unstable download speed and stability issues?

Thank you for your time,

Arond

Try completely unistalling the 2013 driver, then put in the 2015 one, sometimes, Acer vendor reverts it for no reason. Do not forget to have the driver updater BEFORE you do it though.

If that's not the problem, it's either you have bad internet or your wireless adapter is horrible or damaged. Ask Acer support if you want to see how you can fix it better.
