Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Security, and then, under System, clicking Device Manager.
If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Where you see the Yellow exclamation mark, double click it, choose "Details" tab, from the dropdown menu choose "HardwareIDs", click the first string and copy/paste it here.

    try this:

    http://station-drivers.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=353&func=fileinfo&id=2014&lang=en

click on download, double click the .exe file to unpack drivers, then browse to setup folder and run the setup.exe file to install drivers.

the installer is for both x86-x64, which kind of message did you have?

in the worst case, try this:

    http://station-drivers.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=353&func=fileinfo&id=1143&lang=en

You can try to install drivers manually.
Double click the wireless adapter, click on Drivers tab, click on update drivers, choose to browse and to select driver, browse to wireless drivers folder

i don't have other suggestions, it's pretty strange those freezes.

if you have any antivirus installed, please disable it and retry installing the latest link.

Edit: can be one of the glitch when using Legacy but normally wifi works.
