Is there some possibility to enable VT-x in Predator G9-791?

Unfortunatelly in BIOS there is no such function (hidden?).

I need use VT-x to run AVD (Android Virtual Devices).

Solution with disable / enable Hyper-V described here:

not working for me.

    I solved already problem.

Problem was connected not to BIOS but AVAST Antivirus.

New version has option to disable VT-x because of security reasons.

If someone has same problem with Predator VT-x and use AVAST.

    1. Open Antivirus

    2. Go to Settings

    3. Go to Troubleshooting

    4. Uncheck option connected to Hardware Virtualization

    5. Restart OS

    Now everything is working well.

I installed Android HAXM without error.

    HWiNFO64 showing VMX as GREEN.

    Thanks for help.

    Problem SOLVED.

i suppose that your CPU is VT-x capable, which error do you have when disabling Hyper-V to turn ON VT-x?

is your OS a PRO version?

Home versions will not support Virtualisation.

    Hi thanks for the answer.

    I work on Windows 10 Home so I don't have Hyper-V option.

The most anoying problem for me is that I also don't have VT-x now - I checked every option in Predator BIOS and there is no such option to enable VT-x (on my old Alienware in BIOS I can enable / disable Hardware Virtualization).

I checked what will show me HWiNFO64 and there is list of processor features and VMX is RED.

RED = Supported, but Disabled Smiley Sad

    Regards
