A1-840 sleeps but won't wake

Now that I've asked about the firmware/OS upgrade path for this (to me) 10 day old machine - no answer

And about the failure of the ACER clock - a few replies but no solution.

And then the random and inexplicable crashing of apps and unexpected unrequested reboots - no answer

 

And now .....

 

I'm a bit hesitant to ask why this tablet will go to sleep and then it's a lottery if I try to wake the machine. I've done a factory reset (cleared every bit of personal data then another hour  of  setting it up then reinstalling app after app, pausing each time to see if it causes a non-wake event - short answer is none of them).

Then I started disabling things that ACER has decided I want and can't uninstall but will never use and are a waste of space.

 

But it just went to sleep and I had to hold down the power button for a few hours to get it to do what I pay it to do.

 

What's wrong with this computer ?

call Acer support service and have it serviced, or call your seller to change it.
