I have an Acer Aspire Switch 10 (SW5-012-16W, still under warranty) that is stuck in an endless INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE loop. I have tried every fix detailed in the knowledge base and here in the forums to no avail.
I have been trying to register my product on the Acer site in hopes of getting technical support. When I try and register the product under my account, I get the following message, "An error occurred in your request. Please try again in few minutes". I have tried multiple times, on multiple computers, always with the same error message. I have tried every single permutation of the serial number by switching zeros for O's and vice-versa.
"Great", I thought, "I'll just start an online chat". Well, since the system will not recognize my serial number, not possible. "Hmm, guess I'll just call customer service and speak with someone". Again, without the Acer system recognizing my serial number, I can't even speak to a human.
This is an endless loop of absurd, Orwellian frustation that I have yet to experience in my lifetime. I'm a bald guy, but if I had hair it would be pulled out by now.
Would someone from Acer please be so kind as to reach out to me with a solution so I can get this customer service issue resolved??
