In general broken glass isn't covered by warranty, since there's no way that Acer can know that you didn't drop it, or sit on it, or ...

 

You can try to file a claim for warranty repair, but likely what you'll end up doing is having the screen replaced for a fee. Acer can tell you their flat rate charge for that type of repair, and most competent technicians can handle it as well. That a fairly new model, but not so new that parts wouldn't yet be available. I haven't been in one but I believe the LCD and touch panel as bonded as one part, so you can't just replace the glass but instead have to replace the whole assembly.
