running windows 10 on a spanky new Acer Aspire E15.

Acer Care Center tells me I have 3 'critical updates' ready for download.

Where do I go to download these updates?

I expected a download button or at least instructions - nada

??

When I hoover over each notification it enlarges slightly, no response to right or left clicking anywhere on the notification.

Normaly there's a button with "update" or "update all", you need to click that.

    Got it, thanks.

Also found 4 driver updates and an update under General Updates.

    Go figure.

Oh, and that was three notifications of the same update.

I guess to those using Acer Care Center for a while it is easy peasy, for this newcomer I guess being led around by the nose was required.

There is no "update" option on the My System window for me.  So how do I get the "critical update" to download manually?

    Hi,
It should be in the left pane.

Oh, I see what you mean.  I did click on the updates tab and checked for any updates, but it found nothing.  But an update is still listed in the "notifications" icon.  When I looked into the update history, I did find something that downloaded on the same date as the one listed in the "Notifications," but I can't identify if that was the same one.  If it is the same critical update, wouldn't it have dropped off the "Notifications?"

Yes, I clicked that and checked for updates, but still came up empty.
Go to start and click Settings(the wheel), click Update and Security tile, then click Windows Update and see whether you have any Updates pending.
