Delete key

in 2016 Archives

I just bought this Acer Chromebook 15 today.  Where is the Delete Key??  I am serious. I don't see it and no book was in the box.

    With my Chromebook (not a 15...) you get delete by doing an alt-backspace.

    ME TOO.  I looked all over. My HP has the delete where the on off is on the ACER 15.

    That is the only thing disappointing about the ACER.  I use delete a lot.   What I save in

    internet lag, I lose in arrowing back and forth, then using the backspace button to delete.

    I also lose time turning off the computer accidentally when I want to delete something.

     

    Sorry to tell you pal.  There is no delete button.

    The delete function is mapped to Alt-Backspace. I guess Google decided there was no reason to waste the space a key takes up...
