Install Windows XP on Aspire XC-705

Hi guys

My dads work uses a medical program which only works on Windows XP, and (while I understand the lack of support from Microsoft etc etc) I am in need of a new PC which can run Windows XP.

Having looked on various tech shopping websites, I concluded on an Aspire XC-705 which looking at its drivers&support website has support for W10,W8 and W7. Do you think I could get Windows XP installed on it and get its hardware working (motherboard, graphics card, etc etc).

(Before you mention it, I've also tried using a virtual Windows XP inside a more recent Windows version but that added a number of complications, main one being the fact that the medical program was displayed on 1/4 of the screen. Playing with resolutions didn't work).

i don't think you will be able to find all the needed drivers to run windows XP on XC-705.

Honestly i would look for a second hand PC that had XP from factory.

Yeah thats what I'm afraid of. Having looked around on the web, even if its possible, people have struggled to do so. So I agree it might be easier to check good old ebay Smiley Happy
