Hi. I have a Aspire one D255E. One day while doing work it just shut off and came back on with the message under Windows boot manager that an unexpected i/o error has occurred that it was caused by unplugging a removable storage device that windows can't communicate with a device connected to the computer. I never had anything attached to it now I just get this message every time the computer turns on.

Try pressing F2 when the computer first boots to go into the BIOS and reset the BIOS defaults. If that doesn't fix it, it is probably a hardware problem that requires repair.
