bought used computer - has non authentic software.
My sister has a used computer but the original windows had been over written with a sham copy of windows, I usually help her with computers but I am going around in circles with this one. I was advised to contact Acer and see if they have the original disks but I cannot find the right people to ask. Does anyone here know how I can get the original windows 7 that was legal back on the laptop. I am in Australia - there is no Acer help here.
Thanks

If you are sure that the laptop came pre-installed with Windows 7 from Acer, you can contact Acer support in Australia through the link below for further assistance:
http://www.acer.com/ac/en/AU/content/serviceIf the laptop did not come pre-installed with Windows 7, you can download Windows 7 ISO file from the link below and try reinstalling Windows. To download the ISO file and to reinstall Windows, the following links can be helpful:
Note: This option is recommended only if you already have Windows product key. If you don't have one, skip this step and move to next step.

That link may say Australia but it is in east Asia NOT Australia. As I stated the original windows was on the computer when it left the factory but previous owner has put as sham copy over it.
