Fn+F7 also unresponsive. Keyboard working fine.

Fairly new laptop, <6 months old. Touchpad has been glitchy since purchace, but a few days ago it stopped working completely, no cursor movement, not left or right click buttons. The Fn+F7 key combination does nothing, but the keyboard is otherwise working fine. Have tried turning touchpad on and off using windows system settings, but this did nothing. Thought I'd check on here in case it was a known problem - I'm aware that Switchs' trackpads tend towards the glitchy side.

IIRC, several people have had some success opening it up and taping the touchpad cable in place so it doesn't disconnect. It's apparently a tight enough fit that it can work its way loose.

You are still in warranty though, so it might be better to just let Acer fix it for you.
